New factors in the equation.
From Triaden to Danio, and the long arm of the law, carried by the cross-city-state network of Flyers, is proving inconvenient for the little group of fugitives. Meanwhile, back in Triaden, a private detective is commissioned to look into the matter of a murder and a missing artifact, by three different organisations, whose motives are unclear.
