Biography:
I am a comics/manga creator and educator, and was previously known as Irina Richards. I joined Sweatdrop Studios in 2009 with my first two-volume manga series, Chemical Blue. Since then, my art has appeared in many publications, both in and out of Sweatdrop! In 2019, my work was shortlisted for LDComics Women's Graphic Novel Awards.
My work is inspired by mythology and folklore, history, poetry, and nature. I love introducing new audiences to the unlimited storytelling power of comics, and enjoy teaching manga workshops to aspiring artists of all ages and abilities.
