| Biography: |
I’m one of the founding members of Sweatdrop Studios. Since we began life in the heady early noughties I’ve found myself filling various roles for the group including designer, editor, event manager, print handler, copywriter and, on some occasions, even ‘manga artist’.
Ever since childhood I was preoccupied by making my own books, magazines and comics, and inventing make-believe publishing brands. These brands had periodicals, child companies, guest columnists and free giveaways. Weird? Some might say. But, it was this hobby combined with my adolescent discovery of Japanese graphics that lead me to, and keeps me with, Sweatdrop.
Professionally, I am graphic designer working for a lovely creative agency in the wicked city. I also do freelance manga illustration work with clients such as Audi and Unilever under my belt.
Personally, I love being alive, even in those ‘fit hits shan’ moments. In fact especially in those! |
